About the Event
Objectives:
- Know the core principles of the Convention and its accompanying recommendation
- Gain an understanding of how C190 and R206 can improve occupational health and safety and equality at work
- Learn how to compare national legislation and policy against provisions of C190 and R206
- Be able to compare existing workplace policies and/or collective bargaining agreements against C190 and R206
- Gain insights into how C190 and R206 can be used in negotiations and dialogue
- Identify strategies for ratification of C190
- Be able to deliver a similar training session to other trade union representatives.

- ITUC campaign for ratification – how to get actively engaged
Participants will receive a set of mandatory reading materials in preparation for the training session. These will include the text of Convention 190 and Recommendation 206, which can be found here:
